After months of living relatively in the dark, I finally bought a new lamp (and installed it). I saw the 'Midsummer Light' of Tord Boontje in the MoMA store in New York and fell in love with it. I was tempted to buy it there, but I figured it would be kinda silly to buy a lamp in NYC and I already had one. Little did I know I would wreck my lamp shortly after my return...
