It's almost too pretty to open...
After 10+ years I can finally retire my beat-up velcro (*gasp*) wallet. All I need now is some money to put in it...
Couldn't resist...

Let's get lifted
It's Concert Time again! This time I went to see John Legend at the HMH with Viv :D I wonder if he recognized me from JFK :P Anyway it was a great concert, his voice is just amazing and it didn't hurt that he was looking real good either hehe. Unfortunately there was some annoying chick standing next to us, who was singing truly awful (you can hear her in my vids....) Before 'Slow Dance' he said he was going to dance with a fan on stage, because he "really liked it" when he did it at his previous concert at Westerpark. ;) Guess he learned from that incident and took precautions by picking the 'right' fan haha. I was pleasantly surprised by Laura Izibor (There was another support act, but I forgot his name). She's got a great voice, songs, stage presence, etc. I think/hope we'll be hearing more from her.

Antwerp
My apologies for the long hiatus. I had made drafts, but the longer I put off writing, the harder it is for me to finish and actually post them.... So therefore it has been ages that I went to Antwerp for a little weekend break, but here are some pictures I took of the trip:

Bloc Party.
Bloc Party played two gigs at Paradiso and I was able to check them out! I was standing pretty much front row, but when the band started to play, some guys behind me created a mosh pit. This resulted in me trying not to fall, while getting squashed against sweaty backs and smelly armpits (some people have never heard of deodorant...). In the end I got pushed more to the back, where I couldn't see much, but the people were less crazy there. Apart from the mosh pit (I guess I'm just not that fanatic), it was awesome! The support act Delphic. sounded pretty tight too.
