Who the Fuck are Arctic Monkeys?

DSC04796
I love going to concerts and this time I went to the Arctic Monkeys. The Eagles of Death Metal were the support act and I wasn't really wowed by them, their songs kinda sounded the same to me. They did have quite some fans though, I saw a few guys sporting fake handlebar mustaches and sunglasses, trying to look like the frontman. Now on to the Arctic Monkeys, who were amazing. The Arctic Monkeys are often criticized for their lack of stage presence, but I felt that wasn't the case on Wednesday, they were in a pretty good mood. The sound was incredible, especially with Matt pounding away on the drums. A cool part was during 'Secret Door', when two confetti cannons were blasted off (I guess I have a thing for confetti). Although I have to confess that the loud bang made my heart jump a little...

I enjoyed every song on the setlist.. both old and new songs.. And the 'bang' was a beautiful ending before the encore! And I did like EoDM surprisingly :p They were very classic American rock'n'roll-ish.. which I like :)

Do you also listen to the last shadow puppets with Alex Turner and Miles Kane (Rascals)? I will definitely be there when they come! ;)

Yeah the EoDM...I can only remember them singing 'Cherry cola' or something like that :P

I have to admit I only started listening to the AM intensively a few months ago, so I still need to check out the Last Shadow Puppets.

What do you think of Muse? I was so bummed I couldn't score tickets to the concert last Saturday :(

Humbug is different from the other AM albums, but I love it even more. And if you're also crazy about Humbug, you're going to love the last shadow puppets most definitely ;)

Yeah too bad I couldn't go because I heard it was amazing! Which is not totally surprising since they do put on GREAT shows ;)
